Everyone needs a place to live!

We help homeless women and men and low-wage workers support themselves and secure housing they can afford.

In our residential self-help programs, homeless women and men seek and find employment, save for future housing and address many personal obstacles to stability. Workers unable to afford market-rate housing enjoy good housing at affordable rates and receive personal support for maintaining health and stability in our Residence Community for Working People.

Since 1970 the Open Door & Next Door Shelters have been sharing God’s love and care with those who have no place to live through a support system that provides shelter for the body, community for the spirit and structure for achieving personal and economic stability.
